The Santa Maria Model A Ford Club hosted its 18th annual raffle to benefit Allan Hancock College students.
Every year, the club awards $1,000 in scholarships to students in the industrial technology department.
The annual raffle continued this year even as the annual car show was canceled.
To beef up the grand raffle prize, the club offered tickets for a two-night stay at the Ragged Point Inn (a $300 cash value) and a gift basket filled with Central Coast goodies.
"The show to me is a way that our club gives back to the community," said Jay McCord, president of the Santa Maria Model A Ford Club. "Normally we give out 10 scholarships every year."
The ceremony took place outside of the Orcutt Union Plaza where they announced the winner of the raffle.
The winner was announced at 3 p.m. Saturday.
