Santa Maria High School took precautionary safety measures on Monday after an office staff member received a phone call that included threatening language.
The staff member received the call at 11:05 a.m., and police were notified immediately after.
All campus entrances were secured following the threat.
Police quickly determined the threat was non-credible and that further security measures were not needed.
