Officials with the city of Santa Maria say 911 calls being placed in Santa Maria are still being answered despite some technical issues.
The Santa Maria Police Department is receiving and answering calls but is unable to see the location they are coming from.
Santa Maria city officials say this is due to what the telecom calls a "massive outage" affecting multiple 911 call centers.
