Santa Barbara County reported 30 new cases of covid-19 Thursday, bringing the total number of reported cases to 9,003 as of Sept. 24.
Health officials say 21 people are recovering in the hospital, with six in the ICU.
The county has 137 active cases but 8,753 people have already recovered from the virus.
Officials say 113 deaths are being attributed to COVID-19.
Santa Barbara County remains in the most restrictive COVID-19 tier in the state, but could move to a lower tier next week.
