Santa Barbara County Fire announces new website

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department launched a newly redesigned website to aid in public education and provide the latest emergency information.

The website's design emphasizes easy navigation and wildfire awareness and preparation.

It also features current news, project developments standards, emergency operations and services available to the public.

The Fire Department partnered with Ameravant Web Design to create and develop the new site, which is ADA compliant, translation capable and secure. The website was partially funded by a grant through the California Fire Foundation.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department is encouraging residents to visit the website to better understand how the department is serving the community.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department serves the cities of Buellton, Goleta, Solvang, Casmalia, Cuyama, Gaviota, Hope Ranch, Los Alamos, Los Olivos, Mission Canyon, Mission Hills, Orcutt, Santa Maria, Sisquoc and Vandenberg Village.
