Drivers should expect delays on Stowell Road and Miller Street in Santa Maria from Sept. 3 through Nov. 1.
The cause is a storm drain installation project, according to the City of Santa Maria Public Works Department.
The construction will result in lane reductions on both streets.
City officials say to heed temporary signage and reduce speed in construction areas.
They also note that some work will take place overnight.
