A Righetti High School student was injured Friday morning when he was struck by a vehicle, according to the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District.
It reportedly happened at about 8:15 a.m. at South Bradley and Woodmere Road.
School district officials say the student was taken to a local hospital and the school is in communication with his family and friends.
