Another prescribed burn at Vandenberg Air Force Base is scheduled to take place before the end of the year.
The burn near Minuteman Beach will include the burning of about 50 acres of grass and coastal sage scrub.
When done, the burn will happen over three to six days, sometime between Oct. 1 and Dec. 20. An exact date has not yet been announced.
Earlier this month, crews conducted another prescribed burn near Purisima Point Beach.
