More than 6,500 PG&E customers between Shell Beach and Arroyo Grande were without power Friday afternoon.
According to PG&E, the outage began at about 2:24 p.m.
Crews were dispatched to find the cause.
As of 3 p.m., the estimated time of restoration for all 6,512 customers impacted was 5:45 p.m.
