Police are investigating two cases of grand theft reported at the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets.

According to the Pismo Beach Police Department, two men stole 13 purses collectively valued at about $4,400 from Kate Spade.

Authorities say the first theft happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police issued a "Be on the Lookout" to California Highway Patrol officers for a tan Toyota Corolla with a license plate of "6NPU516" which is believed to be the car the suspects drove off in.

Pismo Beach Police say a second grand theft was reported around 3:40 p.m. the same day from Ralph Lauren.

Officials believe the two thefts are unrelated after reviewing surveillance footage.

Police tell KSBY two males stole about $1,500 worth of merchandise from Ralph Lauren.

A partial plate of the suspect's get-away car is "6NP" according to police.

Even though there are similarities in the license plates, officials believe the incidents are not connected.
