An investigation is underway after police say a credit union in Lompoc was robbed Tuesday morning.
Lompoc police say a man walked into CoastHills Credit Union on the 1300 block of N. H Street at around 9:07 a.m. and passed a note demanding money to the teller.
The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash before he walked out, according to police, who say no weapon was ever seen.
Surveillance photos of the robber have not been released, but police say he was wearing a white hat, white long-sleeve shirt and black pants.
The credit union is closed while the investigation is underway and customers are being diverted to CoastHills' Vandenberg Village location.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office crime scene investigation unit was on scene before 11 a.m. along with the FBI.
This is a developing story and will be updated as information becomes available.
