A Central Coast business, community volunteers and visitors to the Central Coast helped keep Pismo Beach clean during Labor Day weekend.
The Greener CBD Group out of Grover Beach met in Pismo Beach Monday to clean up any leftover trash in the area.
The group of 15 said the amount of trash was not as bad as other holidays in the past.
"It seems like people were really receptive to getting a bag, taking it with them, and just kind of leaving no trace," said Jeremiah Schoenfelet, Owner of The Greener CBD. "On top of leaving no trace are kind of going a little above and beyond and picking up a little extra that someone may have forgotten."
Volunteers say they mostly picked up cigarette butts, diapers and face masks.
The City of Pismo Beach had people out picking up left over trash from crowds throughout the holiday weekend.
