A pilot is OK after landing in a field near Los Olivos Monday.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says the incident was reported around 3:09 p.m. near Zaca Station Road about two miles north of Highway 154.
Mechanical issues on the Cessna 172 reportedly prevented the pilot from returning to the Santa Ynez Airport, according to fire officials.
Only the pilot was on board and no injuries were reported.
