A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car in Arroyo Grande.
It happened at around 9 a.m. Friday in front of the Five Cities Fire Authority station on the 100 block of Traffic Way in an area without a marked crosswalk, fire officials tell KSBY News.
Five Cities Fire said early notification about the incident via the PulsePoint app helped crews respond before the dispatch request came in.
The pedestrian was likely going to be taken to a trauma center, fire officials said.
No other information was immediately available.
