If you live in Paso Robles, you may have noticed a heavy police presence on the 600 block of Laura Way Saturday afternoon.

The Paso Robles Police Department was searching for the driver of a pickup truck who reportedly drove away as officers attempted to stop him for a vehicle code violation.

Police are looking for the driver, Christopher Heinlein, who has a felony no-bail warrant for his arrest, and asking the public for help in locating him.

In a Facebook post, the department says Heinlein stopped in front of his home on Laura Way and ran inside.

A female passenger, Harmony Duncan, was detained on scene and arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia according to officials.

With the assistance of the CHP H70 helicopter, officers set a perimeter, but ultimately could not find Heinlein.

Authorities believe Heinlein fled via the greenbelt behind his house before police set up a perimeter.

Officials say Heinlein will be charged with driving on a suspended license, failure to yield, and for resisting/delaying an officer.

If you have any information about his whereabouts, you are asked to call the Paso Robles Police Department at 805-237-6464 or Crime Stoppers at 805-594-STOP.
