Downtown City Park Dining in Paso Robles will continue through October 31, due to the program's success.
The free outdoor dining area has hosted more than 500 local diners every weekend since opening in June.
To participate, diners order takeout from a downtown Paso Robles restaurant and reserve a space at the dining area after 5:30 p.m., Thursday through Sunday.
The farmhouse-style tables are shaded, sanitized, and arranged at a safe distance from each other.
Reservations are free and can be made via Yelp.
