An oil spill was reported Wednesday morning at a Greka facility along Black Rd. near Santa Maria.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, an inspector arrived to find that between 8-10 barrels of crude oil had leaked from a 1/2 inch line.
That line was shut down.
Fire officials say the spill is not affecting any nearby waterways and the oil is contained in secondary containment.
Greka is reportedly working to mitigate the spill.
State and federal authorities have been notified of the spill, according to fire officials.
