Some new buildings will greet Harloe Elementary students and staff once they're able to return to school.

A crane was used Thursday to place the buildings onto the Arroyo Grande campus. Work continued into the afternoon.

The work is part of Measure I, a $170 million school bond measure passed in 2016.

During phase two of the work, eight new classrooms and restrooms are being added at Harloe through the measure.

Seven classrooms and restrooms were added at the school last year.
