Santa Barbara County election officials announced that more than 30 secure ballot drop box locations will be available across the county by October 5.
A list of ballot box locations in Santa Barbara County will be included in a voter's ballot and posted online at SBCVote.com.
Registered voters are expected to receive their ballots in the mail by early October.
Drop boxes will be open 24 hours a day, every day, until 8 p.m. November 3.
Mailing a ballot does not require postage. Officials suggest voters mail their ballots by October 27 to reach the elections office in time to be counted.
For those who would like additional services including language assistance or a replacement ballot, Santa Barbara County is opening 35 in-person voting sites from October 31 through November 3.
Face coverings and social distancing are required.
