A man lost one of his legs in boating incident at Lake Nacimiento Sunday afternoon.
According to CAL FIRE SLO, emergency crews responded around 5:30 p.m. to reports of someone in need of medical attention near the Heritage Ranch boat ramp.
The man's leg got caught in a boat propeller while he was out on the water, officials said.

When emergency crews reached the patient, he had a tourniquet around his leg.
The patient was airlifted to an area hospital for further treatment.
