UPDATE (10:25 p.m.) - Lompoc Police say a 28-year-old man is dead after a shooting tonight.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of North M Street and West Maple Avenue around 5:35 p.m.
When they arrived, they found the 28-year-old inside his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where Police say he died of his injuries.
Lompoc Police are investigating and ask anyone with any information to contact them.
