Lompoc city council passes public safety commission proposals

Lompoc city council members unanimously pass public safety commission proposals.

Many community members showed up to the meeting to express their concerns about safety in the city.

Council members discussed proposals that include increasing the number of meeting dates from quarterly to monthly, creating a surveillance camera registration program for businesses to register their cameras with the police department, as well as a new program to assist with neighborhood watch programs.
