The area's first ever country music festival took place Sunday afternoon at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club (330 Via Real, Carpinteria).
The festival also featured a vendor village, massive dance floor, line dancing, a beer garden, food trucks and a kids-zone.
The event is put on by Homegrown Events, which is co-owned by Brian Hynes and Troy Hale the owners of the Borderline Bar & Grill. Hynes and Hale also grew Oakheart into the largest country music festival in the Ventura county to give back to the Westlake Village Rotary Club.
To date, they have given back hundreds of thousands of dollars to that community and plan to do the same here in Santa Barbara.
