A local nonprofit teamed up with Dana and the Surfing Goats to teach children and adults with special needs how to surf.
Girls Going Greater and Dana and the Surfing Goats organized the "Beautifully Abled Surfing Camp" at Pismo Beach Saturday morning.
While the actual surfing goats were not at the event, organizers say they're teaching participants how to be the G.O.A.T.S, which stands for "Greatest of all Time Surfers."
President of Girls Going Greater, Ariana Lovato, says they've raised more than $4,000 on their Gofundme page to co-sponsor participants.
