Fires across California continue to displace people and many Central Coast hotels are doing what they can to accommodate those in need.
Workers at the Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo say fire evacuees can get rates as low as $99 this week for rooms in their hotel and motel, which is close to a 60 percent discount.
The Madonna Inn is offering $100 off room rates to everyone, not just evacuees, but already had everal fire evacuees staying at the hotel on Monday.
It's recommended that people call ahead to make reservations even if there's only a chance they might get evacuated.
Hotels from Paso Robles to Santa Barbara are offering discounts.
The Allegretto Vineyard Resort in Paso Robles is offering room rates of $189 through Thursday, and Friday and Saturday rates for $309.
Evacuees can call in using the code "Safe."
The Hilton Garden Inn in Lompoc is offering a 20 percent discount on rooms and waiving pet fees.
The Sideways Inn in Buellton is also offering a 20 percent discount on rooms and waiving pet fees.
And the Montecito Inn is offering a discounted rate of $165 a night for a single queen bed room through Thursday night, down from $355.
