A local 7-Eleven owner surprised people waiting in the food distribution line at the Salvation Army in Santa Maria Wednesday morning.

Owner George Warich and his family delivered 100 gift bags.

Each package contained a blanket, beanies, socks, masks and some treats.

"We all put this package together and we worked very hard with this thing and to get out to the people," said Warich.

Members of the Santa Maria Police Department were there to help with distribution.
