The last Old Town Market of the summer is Friday and this week’s theme is Healthy Lompoc Night.
The weekly event is on the 100th Block of South Street and runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
"With this we're going to be able to celebrate the first week of school and have all the students come out and just have a nice reminder that you can be active and healthy in your community," Director of Community Health Lompoc Valley Emily Casarez said.
Fridays Old Town Market event could potentially be the of its kind for a while too. The future of the market is uncertain after funding for it was cut from Lompoc’s 2019-21 budget.
No word on what will happen to the market next year yet.
