(Update:) CHP officials released an update on the crash that left one truck driver injured Wednesday morning.
Officials said the cement truck driver was driving on northbound Jonata Park Road, north of Camino San Carlos when the crash happened.
The 77-year-old driver from Lompoc lost control of the 2020 Western Star truck, resulting in the truck leaving the roadway and overturning.
According to the press release, the driver was extracted from the vehicle by firefighters and suffered major injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

(Original): Jonata Park Road in Buellton is closed after a cement truck rolled over Wednesday morning.
Fire officials said the incident happened on the 1200 block of Jonata Park Road around 9:14 a.m.
Only one patient was involved but firefighters did not specify their injuries.
Fire officials said the road is closed in both directions in the area.
