Jet blast damaged a small airplane and some structures at the San Luis Obispo Airport Friday.

It happened at around noon on airport property, according to Kevin Bumen, director of airports for San Luis Obispo County.

Bumen says it appears a plane, undergoing a maintenance check, was doing a test run on an engine at the time.

A video shared to KSBY by a viewer shows the blast blowing off one of the structures.

Bumen says an aircraft in storage and some other structures behind it were damaged.

No airport property was damaged during the incident and no one was injured.

Bumen says while jet blast incidents do occur at times, this is the first time he’s aware of it happening at the San Luis Obispo Airport.
