A driver was arrested for DUI after a fire hydrant was sheared off in San Luis Obispo early Sunday morning.
The hydrant at California Boulevard and Hathway Avenue was hit around 12:40 a.m.
San Luis Obispo police say the driver left the scene but was found on the Cal Poly campus and arrested on suspicion of being under the influence while driving.
No other information was immediately available.
