CAL FIRE San Luis Obispo crews stopped forward progress of a 4-acre grass fire off Highway 46 Wednesday.
The fire broke out at Highway 46 East and Highway 41 East near Shandon and the Cholame Y.
Crews arrived on scene around 3:30 p.m. and stopped forward progress within 20 minutes.
Crews were still working on hot spots as of 5:15 p.m.
