Many are wondering what they can do to stay active during the heat wave.
We spoke with someone in Pismo Beach visiting from Bakersfield who came to the coast to try and beat the heat.
"Just escaping the biggest heat right now. Honestly, enjoying the weather with my girls. Just taking a nice trip. Oh, we got here yesterday. It was crazy busy, so we ended up just staying in the hotel for a bit. But today, yeah, we're actually going to hit the beach," said Wesley Edwards.
