A project to replace concrete pavement at five locations along Highway 101 between the Highway 58 interchange near Santa Margarita and Traffic Way in Atascadero will begin on July 20 through July 22 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
According to a spokesperson for Caltrans, drivers can expect the closure of the #2 (right) lane in both directions beneath the Highway 101 overcrossings at Highway 58, Santa Barbara Road, Santa Rosa Road, Curbaril Avenue and Traffic Way.
Drivers can expect delays no longer than 10 minutes.
Actual construction is scheduled to begin in September, with overnight lane closures Sunday from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., as well as Monday through Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Exact dates will be announced when certain, said Caltrans.
The project is expected to be completed in December.
