Grover Beach Mayor Jeff Lee has announced his 2020 re-election campaign.
Lee was first elected as Mayor of Grover Beach in 2018 after serving as a city council member from 2012 to 2018.
In a press release, Mayor Lee said his is looking to make the following list a priority during his second term if re-elected:
"It is a privilege to listen to our community members and work with them and City staff to continue to advance our city in a better direction,” said Mayor Jeff Lee. “I’m honored to be supported by residents, businesses, firefighters, nurses, teachers, grocery store workers, the construction trades, community leaders, and many others for my re-election. I look forward to serving the residents, businesses, non-profits,and visitors of Grover Beach for another two years."
Mayor Lee also serves as a board member for the Five Cities Fire Authority and the South SLO County Sanitation District.
In the past, he has served as president of the Integrated Waste Management Authority (IWMA) and as a board member of the Zone 3 Advisory Committee, San Luis Obispo Council of Governments, Five Cities Homeless Coalition, the San Luis Obispo Economic Vitality Corporation, Visit SLO and the Homeless Services Oversight Committee.
He and his wife, Mary Moyers-Lee, have lived in Grover Beach since 2001.
