A former Paso Robles church employee is due in court next week to face embezzlement charges.
Claire Eastin has been charged with three felony counts of grand theft by embezzlement.
Eastin is accused of taking more than $200,000 from Life Community Church between January 2012 and April 2018.
According to the criminal complaint against her, Eastin falsified records to conceal the theft while she was handling the church's bookkeeping.
She is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on September 18.
