Firefighters extinguished a structure fire in Morro Bay Sunday evening.
The Morro Bay Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire at the 200 block of Kern St. around 6 p.m.
Fire officials said the fire burned a structure in the backyard and a deck.

The fire was extinguished within minutes, according to the Morro Bay Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
