Firefighters put out a fire at a San Luis Obispo hotel Friday morning.
It was reported before 11 a.m. at University Inn on the 1800 block of Monterey Street.
SLO City Fire said at 11:10 a.m. the flames had been knocked down and were contained to the laundry room.
The hotel was evacuated.
Crews were expected to remain on scene until around noon.
