Sensorio in Paso Robles announced Tuesday the reopening of the outdoor art exhibit Bruce Munro: Field of Light Sensorio.

The reopening begins June 12, 2020 through January 3, 2021. The exhibit closed in mid-March to help manage and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Sensorio will implement and enforce new rules throughout the 15-acre outdoor site. Including timed ticket entry, a one-way path through the exhibition, limited group size (6 maximum), temperature checks, restroom cleanings every 30 minutes, hand sanitation stations, monitored and enforced social distancing, and mask coverings.

Artist Bruce Munro's Field of Light is a 15-acre art installation that covers the rolling hills off Highway 46 with more than 58,800 colorful lighted spheres. Celebrating its one-year anniversary since opening in May 2019, organizers say the exhibit has captured an international audience, with over 145,000 visitors from 41 countries.

It is located at 4380 Highway 46 East, across from Hunter Ranch Golf Course. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
