Equipment issue causes large power outage in Nipomo, PG&E says

Hundreds of people in Nipomo remain without power Saturday night as a result of "equipment issues", according to PG&E.

The initial outage caused over 5,000 customers in the Nipomo area to lose power.

PG&E says power is estimated to be restored shortly before midnight.
