UPDATE (3:47 p.m.) - The Paso Robles Police Department says an 83-year-old man from Coronado was killed in Monday morning's crash on Highway 46 East at Buena Vista Road.
It happened at about 9:20 a.m.
Police have not released information on what led up to the crash, only saying a 2002 Buick and 2001 Ford Ranger were involved.
Drugs or alcohol are not considered to be factors in the crash at this time. Police are not yet releasing the names of those involved.
Traffic on the highway was impacted for about two hours until the crash could be cleared.
