Dorn's Breakers Cafe in Morro Bay was established in 1942 and has been in business ever since.
The restaurant serves mainly seafood along with steaks, fillets and burgers.
Manager Hilary Hoffman said the restaurant's customer base is hugely local and because many of them are now staying home amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Dorn's has taken a financial hit.
But Hoffman said many customers are still ordering food. The reason? Consistency.
"I think people don't really like change. And Dorn's keeps everything very consistent," Hoffman said. "Maybe we'll change a few things here and there. But for the most part, we've had the menu stay the same forever, at least for the 15 years I've been here."
Dorn's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Dorn's is open for takeout and curbside service from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Customers can call ahead to place an order.
