Deputies release surveillance photos of armed robbery in Oceano

San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Office released photos from surveillance footage of an armed robbery that happened at the Oceano Market and Valero Gas Station Monday.

Police are asking for the publics help in locating the suspect.

Deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery Monday at about 8:50 a.m. in the 1700 block of Front Street in Oceano.

Witnesses told deputies a man came into the store with a gun, walked up to the clerk and demanded money.

The suspect then ran off with an undisclosed amount of money. Officials say no one was hurt in the incident.

Witnesses say the suspect got into a car with another man heading south towards Los Berros Road. The car was described as a 2009 to 2013 Mitsubishi Gallant.

Officials say the suspect was described as an adult male, average build, wearing dark blue or black clothing and dark sunglasses.
