The deadline to apply for the California Mid-State Fair Youth Legacy Scholarship is approaching.

The California Mid-State Fair is partnering with the James W. Brabeck Youth Legacy Fund to financially support high school students planning to compete at the 75th annual fair, which is scheduled to take place from July 22 to Aug. 2 at the Paso Robles Event Center.

According to a press release from the California Mid-State Fair, the scholarship recipient will be awarded up to $20,000 in four single-year increments.

High school juniors and seniors who are planning to compete in the Junior Livestock Show, Horse Show, Industrial Education Show, Agriculture/Floriculture/Ornamental & Horticulture Program and/or Tractor Restoration Project at the California Mid-State Fair are eligible to apply for the scholarship, according to the press release.

The deadline to apply for the Youth Legacy Scholarship is Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11:59 p.m.
