CSU Chancellor Dr. Timothy P. White mandated Sunday all CSU employees 65 and older and/or vulnerable to COVID-19 to refrain from being on campus until further notice.
Today @GavinNewsom directed that those 65 or older, and those vulnerable to COVID-19, must practice at-home isolation. As a result, our CSU Chancellor has mandated all CSU employees 65 and older and/or vulnerable to COVID-19 to refrain from being on campus until further notice.

This comes after Governor Gavin Newsom directed those 65 or older, and those vulnerable to COVID-19, to practice at-home isolation.
Cal Poly tweeted Sunday they expect this to impact "many employees." They are asking staff members to contact their supervisor as soon as possible to discuss potential arrangements, such as telecommuting.
We understand this impacts many Cal Poly employees. If you meet the criteria above, please do not report to work tomorrow. We ask that you contact your supervisor as soon as possible to discuss potential arrangements, such as telecommuting. Full message: https://t.co/JXwJdX2VDD
