UPDATE (12:02 p.m.) - According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver in a Toyota Tundra headed northbound made a left turn on Highway 101 at Old Stage Coach Road into the path of a driver headed southbound in a Chevy Silverado.

The Silverado crashed into the passenger side of the Tundra, causing the Silverado to roll over.

Approximately 75 gallons of diesel fuel leaked from the rear of the truck bed onto the road and right shoulder of the highway, prompting a hazmat cleanup.

The southbound lanes were blocked by the wrecked trucks and the drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles by firefighters.

The two men were taken to Sierra Vista hospital with major injuries.
