A multi-vehicle crash was backing up traffic through Avila Beach Tuesday afternoon.
It happened at about 12:10 p.m. at Avila Beach Dr. and San Luis St.
According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved, including one vehicle that went down an embankment and another vehicle that ended up on its side.
Only minor injuries were reported.
