A Community Town Hall will take place next week to discuss the replacement of San Luis Obispo County District 3 Supervisor Adam Hill.
Adam Hill passed away on Aug. 6. He was found dead at his home in Pismo Beach shortly after he announced he was seeking specialized treatment for depression.
The community meeting will focus on who the Governor will appoint to finish Supervisor Adam Hill's term on the District 3 SLO County Board of Supervisors.
It takes place Wednesday, Sept. 2 and is being hosted by the NAACP San Luis Obispo County, Latino Outreach Council & League of Women Voters SLOCO.
The Third District includes 61% of the City of San Luis Obispo, the communities of Edna Valley and Avila, the City of Pismo Beach, and the City of Grover Beach.
The confirmed applicants who will be participating are:

The Town Hall will be moderated by Mark Buchman, Jacqueline Frederick, and Linda Lynch.
