San Luis Obispo County is working on an update to the Housing Element that will address the housing needs in the unincorporated areas of the county.
The public is invited to provide input at a workshop that will take place on Wednesday October 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo Library.
The County of San Luis Obispo seeks to create policies that provide opportunities for the development of housing to meet local demand.
County leaders say an effective housing element provides the appropriate conditions for developing and preserving a healthy supply of housing for the entire community, while reducing constraints where possible.
