Community members and crews in Avila Beach are working to clean-up flooded areas after the storm.
Here is a look at the flooding on First Street from earlier this week:
Here is how it looks Saturday:
Kim Jeffrey, an owner of one of the homes on near the flooded roadway, says the first two feet of her driveway were underwater Thursday.
She says she prepared for severe flooding by setting up a barrier with sandbags outside of her home.
Jeffrey says she feels fortunate she did not have to evacuate.
"We just got a battery, radio, water, candles, and flashlights ready just in case, and [we] just sat and watched the water rise and rise and rise. Fortunately, we didn't have to swim, [but] we have a surfboard in the garage, so if we had to, we could just paddle out," Jeffrey said.
