The Central Coast Airfest is less than two months away and tickets to the weekend event are available for purchase.
This year marks the second annual Airfest at the Santa Maria Airport on the weekend of October 12 and 13.
The Airfest will feature the United State Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team, as well as aerobatic displays, jet truck, souvenirs, vendors, local non-profits and the Special Olympics Plane-Pull. Parents can bring their children to the McDonald’s kids’ zone and VIP visitors can set up in the all-inclusive VIP tent offering a space to break away from the sun and refresh.
Guests can also try out food and beverages from several local restaurants and food trucks that will cater during the Airfest. Organizers wanted it to reflect what the Central Coast has to offer.
General admission to the Central Coast Airfest for patrons age 16 to 64 is $20. Seniors ages 65 and up, as well as military members, will receive a discount for admission with tickets set at $10. Youth admission ages 5-10 costs $5 and child admission under the age of 5 are free.
Parking will cost $10 a car.
